Can I add a delivery date and time picker to Shopify checkout?
Yes, on Shopify Plus. Bird's checkout extension puts a delivery and pickup date and time picker natively inside the Shopify Plus checkout page, so customers schedule while they pay. On non-Plus plans the picker runs on the cart page instead, because Shopify only allows custom in-checkout fields on Plus.
Is the in-checkout scheduler available on all Shopify plans?
No. The native in-checkout date and time picker is exclusive to Shopify Plus, due to Shopify's checkout extension requirements. Stores on other plans use Bird's cart-page widget and can still surface the chosen slot at checkout by adding it to the shipping or pickup rate name.
What can I configure in the Bird checkout extension?
From the Shopify Plus checkout editor you control available delivery dates, time slots, minimum order values, and which delivery methods appear (pickup, local delivery, or shipping). You can also set rates that change by the selected date, such as premium same-day or express windows.
