Can I offer pickup, local delivery and shipping in the same store?
Yes. Customers choose pickup, local delivery or shipping in the Bird widget, and each method keeps its own dates, time slots and rates.
How many store locations can I run with Bird?
1 location on Essential, 4 locations on Growth, 20 locations on Scale. Each location has its own hours, time slots and delivery zones.
How do I add a delivery date picker to my Shopify store?
Install Bird from the Shopify App Store, add your locations with their hours and time slots, then place the widget in your store from Widget placement in Bird's settings. Customers then choose pickup or delivery and pick a date and time in your cart. No code needed.
Do I need a developer to set Bird up?
No. You install Bird from the Shopify App Store and set your locations, hours and slots from its dashboard. Most stores are live the same day, and our support team is there 24/7 if you get stuck.
Can I charge more for weekend or same-day delivery?
Yes. Bird's date, weekday, time slot and rush rates let a Saturday delivery or a same-day order cost more than a standard one. These rate types start on Growth. Price and weight based rates are on every plan.
Where do SMS notifications work?
SMS works in the US, UK, Canada and Sweden. It is charged per message from your Bird balance. Email notifications work everywhere, on every plan.
