For charcuterie and grazing companies

Charcuterie boards booked for the hour of the event.

Hosts pick the event date and arrival time, small boards keep short notice while big tables get more, and the venue details ride on every order.

Trusted by 7,000+ Shopify merchantsBuilt for Shopify

The board should be on the table before anyone pours a drink.

Hosts book the moment they need it, and your builders get the time to cut, fold and arrange.

  • Hosts pick the arrival time

They choose a date and time window for the drop, or a pickup time at your shop.

  • Builders get their notice

A grab-and-go box can need a day and a full grazing table three, set product by product.

  • Drivers find the right door

A required delivery note collects the venue, gate code or room before checkout.

What happens between choosing a board and setting it out?

The host makes three picks. Your team gets a dated, noted order to build from.

    Board or full table

Hosts add a box, a board or a grazing table, and the calendar skips dates inside its notice period.

  2. 2
    Store pickupLocal delivery

    Date, time and place

They pick the day and arrival window, then type the venue details into the note.

  3. 3
A grazing box packed with cured meats, cheeses, grapes, crackers and small jars of olives and jam

    Build from the prep list

Your build team gets one sheet listing how many of each board the day's orders call for.

How do you handle wedding season and the December party rush?

A handful of rules so June Saturdays and the weeks before Christmas don't outrun your builders.

  • A long wooden grazing stand of cured meats, cheeses, crackers and grapes against a brick wall

    Caps per day and window

Decide how many tables one Saturday can carry, cap each arrival window, and raise or lower the number on chosen dates.

  • A wooden board of brie, salami, crackers, strawberries, pickles and a dipping sauce

    Notice by size

A small box can go out tomorrow while a grazing table needs three days. Carts with both follow the longest wait.

  • Friends on a picnic blanket around a board of cheese, salami, crackers and strawberries

    Areas, fees and Saturday rates

Price each delivery area by postcode or distance, set a minimum order, and add a surcharge for Saturday drops.

FAQ

What do charcuterie businesses ask before booking with Bird?

What is the best Shopify app for charcuterie and grazing table businesses?

Charcuterie and grazing companies often land on Bird Pickup & Delivery by BirdChime. Shopify has given it the Built for Shopify badge, its 500+ reviews average 5.0, and 7,000+ Shopify stores in 60+ countries rely on it. Board makers use it for lead times by product, event-day arrival windows and delivery notes that carry the venue. The most common praise in reviews is for fast, helpful support, with the app itself called easy and reliable; one reviewer names it “the best pickup and delivery app for Shopify”.

How much notice can I require for a grazing table?

As much as you need. Give grazing tables a lead time of, say, three days by product tag, and the calendar hides anything sooner. Boards can keep a shorter one.

Can customers choose the time a charcuterie board arrives?

Yes. Offer arrival windows such as 3 PM to 5 PM, cap each one, and require a pick before checkout.

Where do customers put the venue address and setup details?

In the delivery note. Switch it on, make it required, and the details land in the order. Bird has no separate venue form; the note does that job.

Can I charge more for Saturday or next-day board orders?

Yes. Add a rate that applies only on chosen days, like Saturday, and a rush rate for orders due today or tomorrow.

Can I require a minimum spend before delivering a board?

Yes. Set the smallest cart you'll deliver, location by location, and a different one for pickup if you like. Carts under it can't check out.

Can I limit how many grazing tables we take on one day?

Yes. Put a ceiling on the day and on each arrival window, and give wedding Saturdays their own number. Full days stop appearing as open.

Can delivery fees change with distance from our kitchen?

Yes. Price delivery by postcode or by distance, one fee per area. The store sticks to one kind of area, postcodes or distance, not both.

Does Bird send reminder emails automatically before the event?

No. Reminder emails go out when your team selects orders and clicks Send customer reminder. They are email only, with no text version.

Can staff book a corporate grazing order taken by phone?

Yes. Create a draft order in Bird with the date, time and location, add the boards in Shopify and complete it there.

How is Bird priced for grazing and board companies, and is support included?

Your first 14 days are free; after that Bird is $19.99 a month and up, paid with your Shopify bill. Support is human, on live chat and email, day and night including weekends. Plan details sit on the pricing page.

What does it take to get grazing table bookings live in Bird?

Add your arrival windows, give boards and tables their lead times, switch on a required delivery note and set your delivery areas, then turn the widget on in your theme. Each step has a guide.

What is charcuterie and grazing table scheduling on Shopify?

Bird Pickup & Delivery, the Shopify app by BirdChime, gives charcuterie and grazing companies a booking calendar where hosts choose a pickup time or a delivery window for the event before paying. Boards and grazing tables each get their own notice period, busy days get caps, and delivery areas carry fees, a minimum order and a venue note.
