Uber Direct delivery for Shopify is Bird Pickup & Delivery's connection to Uber's on-demand courier network. Your customers book a delivery date and time in your store and see Uber's live price at checkout. When the order is ready, you mark it Dispatched in Bird and an Uber courier delivers it in that window.

Which Shopify plan do I need to show the live Uber Direct price?
Your Shopify plan needs carrier-calculated shipping, the Shopify feature that shows a live price at checkout. Advanced and Plus include it, Grow can add it for a monthly fee, and Basic and Starter don't have it.
When does an order go to Uber Direct?
When you mark it Dispatched in Bird. Placing the order doesn't send it, so you choose when the courier is called.
Can I use Uber Direct for only some of my shops?
Yes. Tick the shops you want it for. Each shop uses one courier at a time.
What happens if I cancel an order sent to Uber Direct?
Cancel the order in Shopify and Bird cancels the Uber Direct delivery too.
What happens if Uber Direct can't complete a delivery?
You choose ahead of time: the courier leaves it at the door (the default), brings it back to your shop, or discards it.
